On May 14, 2026, the Carmen Arace Band delivered a spectacular performance at its annual Spring Concert under the direction of award-winning band director Dorothea Jones.
Families, staff, and community members enjoyed an evening filled with impressive musical selections and outstanding student performances. Throughout the concert, students demonstrated superb form, confidence, and musicianship, creating a magical sound that captivated the audience from beginning to end.
Among the evening’s highlights was a beautiful performance of “Pure Imagination” from the Willy Wonka soundtrack, which showcased the band’s musical expression and talent. The percussion section also energized the audience with dynamic rhythms and strong performances that added excitement throughout the program.
One of the most memorable moments of the evening was the opportunity for parents and family members to come closer to the stage to take photos and videos of their students while they performed. This special touch created a joyful and celebratory atmosphere for students and families alike.
