Greetings CAMS Families:

We ended last week with a Black History Month event to remember!

We celebrated with performances from Bloomfield High School’s and Mr. Shane Davis’ University of Hartford Gospel Choirs and our very own Carmen Arace Middle School (CAMS) drill team. We are so proud of the CAMS Drill Team! They brought school spirit while celebrating black history. Thank you and congratulations to all involved.

We will use this momentum to carry us through spring testing and quarter three. Please see this month’s newsletter for the testing schedule and prepare our students to be successful by ensuring that they are well rested, come to school on time on the days of testing, and are motivated to their best.

Data from these assessments will be used to target the skill deficits that will help students move toward proficiency and beyond. Additionally, we will use the data to establish appropriate placement.

Our goal is to keep you informed and partner with you to raise student achievement.

Thank you, parents and guardians for all you do!
